Buderim Rebels Hockey Club were grateful recipients of the grant provided by Buderim Foundation in 2017, for the development and support of our Hook into Hockey Program (H2H) program. Through this grant the club were able to purchase hockey equipment such as hockey sticks, balls, cones, training and playing equipment. Subsequent to the grant H2H programs were run in 2017 by our club for one of the local primary schools and as part of the club hockey season. Through the support of the Buderim Foundation in just one season we have introduced over 50 young children 10 years and under to the sport of hockey.

Sunshine Coast Council
Buderim Rebels Hockey Club were grateful recipients of a grant provided by Sunshine Coast Council in 2017, for the purchase of team managers kits and an additional club marque. Through this grant the club has replaced all of the current managers kits, provided a sports umbrella for each team and an additional marque for the club. The new kits will be greatly appreciated by the managers, coaches and players.

Buderim Rebels Hockey Club were grateful recipients of a grant provided by the Queensland Government in 2017, to provide level 1 coaching accreditation courses, support new junior umpires with mentoring and assessment and complete a coaching-the-coaches course to support hockey at Buderim. The training courses provided through this grant gave our coaches and umpires with new skills, resources and accreditation and sets the standard for the club.
