Hockey Update Aug 2017 #2

Results from weekend
Our H2H Under 7s had a full day carnival at Caboolture on Sunday and the kids and parents had a great time.
Believe it or not last weekend was the Final round of junior fixtures and this weekend will be the Final round for senior fixtures.
Well done to all of our coaches, managers and teams.  Incredibly 7 of our 9 junior teams have qualified for the first round of semi finals this weekend.

Our under 7 and under 9s kick off on Friday night with their second last H2H.
Junior teams are playing the first round of finals with a number of teams in knock out semi’s.  Click here for the Junior Semi Finals Draw.
Our Senior teams are playing their Final round of fixtures this weekend and it will be the last game for a number of our teams.
If you have a chance please come down and support the Juniors and Seniors this weekend.  Wear the pink and black and cheer on the Buderim Rebels.
Your extra support could make the difference.  See the SCHA Competitions Page for the latest fixture information.

Our LAST Club Duty – Coming soon
Being a large club means that we get a lot of the tough gigs and we have been assigned Club Duty for the Junior Grand Finals Fri 1 Sep to Sun 3 Sep.
Being a large club in theory means we have a large number of members that will volunteer.
Dig deep for the last Club Duty for 2017 and email your coach or manager or Tascha Breytenbach to volunteer.

Date Claimer for Junior and Presentation
Please keep the Sat 8 Sep and Sun 10 Sep as a date claimer for the Junior Break-up and Presentations.
More details to follow soon.

Summer Hockey and Walking Hockey and (maybe) Indoor hockey
SCHA have released details of the Summer hockey, (NEW) “Walking” hockey programs and keep an ear and eye out for a possible Indoor Hockey competition. All of these programs will be “Team” rather than club based, so feel free to collaborate with school mates, team mates or just sign up as an individual.  The Buderim Rebels Club is in full support of these programs and if you do want to form a “Rebels” team with club T-shirts they will be provided at cost or less.  Click here for more details about Summer Hockey and Walking Hockey and we will keep you posted about indoor hockey.
