An important message from Michelle Taylor, BRHC Vice-President (Snr Women)

Dear 2025 Division 3 Women, 

Thanks to those who attended our trials Wednesday night 12/2/25. We value your feedback. You've spoken – We've listened.

So that we can continue to get to know you all, we've decided to hold a second Women’s Division 3 trial next Wednesday night 19/2/25 (time TBA). Please arrive 15 minutes prior to our training slot, this allows for warm up and to allocate teams and positions.

Why are we holding trial’s for BRHC Division 3 teams? In a nutshell, we have so many current, returning & new players joining BRHC in 2025 to share in our love for hockey! BRHC will therefore need to register 2 x Division 3 teams this season.

As Division 3 brings together various ages, skill levels and of course commitment, we want to do our best in placing each player in the team that's the right fit. The framework for the establishment of the 2 teams are outlined below;

BRHC Division 3 Women Pink Team

• Passion for hockey, creating a supporting, positive team environment
• Strong, competitive spirit
• High level of commitment to training & fitness sessions
• Preparedness & ability to arrive at advised times
• High expectations for success
• Ability to volunteer a small amount of time to assist with BRHC off-field commitments
• A proud Buderim Rebel!

BRHC Division 3 Women Grey Team

• Love & enjoyment of hockey, creating a supporting, positive team environment
• Still competitive, yet a more casual spirit
• A more relaxed commitment to training & fitness sessions
• Prompt on time arrival to trainings & games
• A focus on social enjoyment, friendships & fun
• Ability to volunteer a small amount of time to assist with BRHC off-field commitments
• A proud Buderim Rebel!

Teams will be finalised by Friday 21/2/25, with full steam ahead for trainings from Wednesday 26/2/25. We appreciate your patience with this process. If you feel playing in our "Division 3 Grey Team" suits you better personally based on above, please let us know via email to Megan [ megsmc@bigpond.com ]. Also, don't forget to register asap HERE so we have all your info & contact details on file, & can allocate you to a  Division 3 team.
